Simply speaking, it is a brinjal with an extra gene inserted in it. As a result the brinjal becomes immune to some insects. This reduces the need to using pesticides on brinjal plants.

Most, if not all of us are scared of outliving their money and although it was something no one thought about 25-30 years ago, today I feel it is a very real threat that I may outlive this planet. In other words, I am afraid of dying an unnatural death because we have driven mother earth to a point where it can't support life.
